Chinese New Year Eve 2008

I always like the atmosphere before Chinese New Year. Today is CNY's eve. So what have we done today? This will be my last CNY's eve celebration with my family. Next year, I will be celebrating it with my new family. Guess I shall miss this moment very much.

Mum changed the red cloth this time. I think I still prefer the drop down version than this.
Plants that I have bought for this year. The first one is more lasting compared to the later one.
Carnation for prayer.
We carried out a praying session to 'Guan Ying' & also our ancestors.
Mum cooked a number of food for this prayer.
We cooked 'Poon Choy' this year. I helped mum out for the preparation. We have prawns, abalone, oysters, roast pork, sea cucumbers, mushrooms, vegetables, etc. Slurp! Slurp! This food is incredible delicious. I cooked this dish. It is a steam scallop with spring onion, rice wine & oyster sauce. Cold dish - pork balls, century eggs & Thai sweet sour jelly fish.Kai Jun must be hungry. He was pretty excited & happy. Ee Ting dressed him up after the dinner. My younger brother & I shared this traditional Chinese cloth for him.Ahyo... who is the sexy boy on my bed please?Come! Lets say 'cheese'!
Gong Xi Fa Choy!Everyone have taken picture with me. But what about my fatty Su Su?My neighbourhood.
Prayer starts at 12am to welcome the arrival of Rat year.
