Prawn Fritters & Tempura Oyster Mushrooms

What have I done this evening? I cooked again but it was only a snack, Cucur Udang (Prawn Fritters).

Below are the ingredients needed for this recipe:
  1. Wheat Flour
  2. Beansprouts
  3. Finely chopped spring onion
  4. Onion
  5. Chilies
  6. Turmeric powder (Kunyit)
  7. Egg
  8. Prawns
  9. Anchovies (Ikan Bilis)
  10. Pepper
  11. Fish Sauce
  12. Salt
Bind all the above into one thick paste. Add a little water if the batter is thick. Then, deep fry the batter in hot oil until the cucur turns light golden.

The batter after mixing the flour with egg, water & turmeric powder.

The batter are filled with the rest of the ingredients.

Deep-frying the cucur.

Besides, Mum has also asked me to fry a bit of the Oyster Mushrooms that we got from Tesco this morning. Since my batter has finished, I make another batter using the Tempura flour, egg & cold water. Aiya.... I have forgotten to put the seasoning for this batter :P but it still tasted well when you eat it with chili sauce.
